Cholera Update

The yearly cholera outbreak in Chawama has subsided. Again the rains caused severe flooding. Potable water was hard to come by. Again, schools were turned into emergency rooms where children could receive urgent hydration. Again, people had to add chlorine to water to protect themselves. But, thank heaven, none of our children died and none had severe disease with residual illness.
